Welcome to the Hockey page of Michael!Well first off since this is my hockey page I will introduce you to the sport and explain a bit about it. Hockey is played in many forms, from the minor hockey kids can play now to NHL were the professionals are at. There are also Junior leagues for people out of minor hockey trying to get into the NHL and make it pro. Next I will tell you a little bit about the NHL, the NHL is played in many cities and provinces/states in the United States and Canada. NHL is professional hockey with 20 minutes of play in each period and each game consists of 3 periods.
Also like most other sports there is an award for the best team at the end of the year(champions) the NHL's award is what so many people know as the Stanley Cup. Below is a picture of what the stanley cup looks like.
